ROAD CONCESSIONAIRES

Maintain visibility between contractual pavement surveys.

The network continues to change between formal survey cycles.

Inspech enables pavement and inspection teams to perform more frequent visual condition assessments using compatible road imagery, AI-assisted recommendations and inspector validation. The result is a consistent, traceable and up-to-date visual record of developing road condition.

THE CONCESSION OPERATING CONTEXT

Long-term responsibility requires a current view of visible change.

A road concession combines network availability, contractual performance, maintenance responsibility and financial discipline. Formal engineering surveys provide essential information about pavement performance. The operational challenge is maintaining sufficient visibility between those surveys, while inspection teams process growing volumes of road imagery and evidence.

More current evidence supports professional decisions. It does not automate them.

OPERATIONAL OUTCOMES

More current evidence across the concession network.

Practical support for contractual, engineering and maintenance workflows, without overstating what visual assessment can determine.

ACROSS INSPECTION CYCLES

Build a traceable history of how the network has changed.

Across repeated inspections, imagery, validated findings and contextual information create a growing history of visible network change.
This strengthens Road Condition Intelligence and supports engineering investigation, maintenance planning, compliance and stakeholder reporting across the concession lifecycle.

Every validated cycle adds context to the next.

A-Lanes A15

Consistent contractual inspection with a project lead-time reduction of more than half.

A-Lanes A15 has to demonstrate that contractual requirements are met and produce an annual asphalt repair plan. Visual inspection is therefore crucial, with damage recorded according to the applicable Rijkswaterstaat method.

The combination of HD imagery and surface assessment with Inspech provides a repeatable inspection record and made it possible to complete the project later in the year while keeping results available for maintenance planning.
