HOW INSPECH WORKS

From road imagery to validated Road Condition Intelligence.

Inspech connects preparation, compatible imagery, georeferenced review, AI-assisted recommendations and professional validation in one traceable workflow.

It helps inspection teams process recurring visual evidence efficiently, without removing the inspector, the engineering method or the systems around it.

THE WORKFLOW AT A GLANCE

Four phases. One
professional chain of evidence.

Every phase has a clear input, a controlled handoff and an accountable outcome.

PROFESSIONALWORKFLOW PRINCIPLE   |   AI accelerates the review. Inspectors own the assessment. Engineers and asset managers own the decisions that follow.

BEFORE THE FIRST KILOMETRE

Start by agreeing what a valid inspection requires.

A reliable result begins before capture. The organisation and Inspech align the inspection objective, applicable method, road scope, imagery requirements and expected outputs.  This makes compatibility explicit and gives inspectors a clear basis for professional review.

Compatibility is validated for the intended workflow.
It is not assumed from the presence of video or GPS alone.

01           Road scope
Which network, route, carriageway or road sections need to be assessed?

02          Assessment method
Which visual inspection method, defect types and classifications apply?

03         Capture protocol
Which compatible camera setup, image quality and positioning information are required?

04         Output needs
Which reports, geodata or downstream workflows must the validated results support?

THE OPERATIONAL WORKFLOW

Follow the evidence from capture to use.

Each step preserves the context needed by the next—so results remain understandable, reviewable and usable beyond a single inspection.

Phase 01 · Prepare and capture

01  -
Define the inspection
Confirm the route, applicable visual assessment method, capture configuration, responsibilities and required outputs.

02  -  Capture compatible imagery
Record the road surface using an agreed accessible camera configuration or compatible professional capture workflow while preserving the required location context.

Phase 02 · Organise and assess

03  -  Ingest and organise

Upload the imagery and organise it by geography, route and road section so every observation retains its wider network context.

04  -  Receive AI-assisted recommendations
Receive AI-assisted recommendations
Inspech highlights potential visible surface defects and suggests applicable classifications to focus professional attention.

Operational Workflow 2
Phase 03 · Review and validate

05  -
The inspector makes the assessment
Confirm the route, applicable visual assessment method, capture configuration, responsibilities and required outputs.

Recommendations remain visible and reviewable. They are not treated as autonomous engineering decisions.

Operational Workflow 3
Phase 04 · Use and repeat

06  -  Report and export

Use supported reports, geodata and exchange routes in established GIS, road-management and professional reporting workflows.

07  -  Repeat and compare
Where recurring cycles exist, compare validated imagery and observations to build a traceable history of visible network change.

WHAT STAYS CONNECTED

Every result carries more than a classification.

Traceability comes from keeping the evidence, context and professional assessment together.

01

Image

The visible road-surface evidence reviewed by the inspector.

02

Location

The geographic and road-section context attached to the imagery.

03

Assessment

The inspector-validated defect type, classification or observation.

04

Provenance

The inspection cycle and validation context that make the result traceable.

DESIGNED FOR SYSTEM FIT

Visual condition intelligence, in the right professional context.

Inspech strengthens recurring visual assessment. It complements (not replaces) specialist engineering measurements, pavement expertise and established asset-management processes.

OPERATIONAL VALIDATION

Test the complete workflow in your own inspection context.

Use a representative route, your applicable method and your own professional inspectors to evaluate capture fit, review effort, consistency, outputs and operational value.

A PRACTICAL EVALUATION

01     Choose a representative route

02     Confirm method and imagery compatibility

03     Run the assisted assessment workflow

04     Validate results with your inspectors

05     Review fit, outputs and next steps
